The wiki has a page for EuroPython attendees to contribute information,
more or less ad hoc. For instance, under Sightseeing there is only
Guggenheim, which is a leftover from 2016, and clearly is in need of an
edit.

No problem. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you; the wiki has
been beset by spam recently, and the filters had to be strengthened.

Google logins no longer work on the wiki, since Google

Please use password based login instead. If you can provide

Hi, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've made you an
editor now, so you should be able to make those changes. Thanks!

Hello,

My username is PeterNau.
I'd like to edit a link near the end of the PyUnit wiki page, since the
link is dead.
The link is in the sentence, "Dive into Python
<http://www.diveintopython.org/toc/index.html> chapter on unit testing with
PyUnit".

Thank you.

Note that 'CONTENT' means a page on python.org has been updated.

Success stories improvements
----------------------------

This week's biggest project was to make "Success Stories" application
usable. Most of the work has been done in
https://github.com/python/pythondotorg/pull/1099 #1099 also fixed a
previously reported issue:
https://github.com/python/pythondotorg/issues/834

After #1099, I've opened
https://github.com/python/pythondotorg/pull/1100 to fix some small
bugs introduced in the earlier PR.

Then I wrote https://github.com/python/pythondotorg/commit/e3baa4cb3f2ff806770575980f1c96c0c297a5af
to include admin URL in emails to make review process easier.

You can see the complete list of my commits at

Hello,

I am reaching out to inform you about our upcoming conference QuantCon
Singapore 2017. The link for more information and to register is *here*
<https://quantconsingapore2017.splashthat.com/>.

Quantopian will host the second annual QuantCon Singapore on September
28th-30th 2017. Our 3-day program will focus on rigorous methodologies and
ideas, cutting-edge data and tools, and current industry trends, that can help
you craft, improve on, and trade your own investment strategies. The
conference will feature expert workshops, talks, tutorials, and a free
hackathon, with a clear focus on algorithmic trading, quantitative finance,
and machine learning.

The Quantopian platform uses Python and a lot of the conference talks are
Python focused. It is a great event for anyone who uses Python and is
interested in FinTech, quant finance, and algorithmic trading. We would
like to have this event posted and shared if possible.

Best,

Phoebe

Hi,

My name is Devon, and I?m a community account manager with Groupon. We?re
currently in partnership with more than 9,000 retailers that want to
increase their online business. We?ve launched Groupon Coupons. Consumers
can access thousands of coupons online from their favorite stores such as
Macy?s, Office Depot, Peapod, ULTA and more.

We think your website and online business would increase by joining these
retail giants by offering Groupon Coupons. Participation is free and
generates volumes of traffic and sales.

If you agree, we?d appreciate your feedback in the form of a quick post
about Groupon Coupons. I can give you some ideas for a short post that
would resonate with your readers.

*How do your partnerships usually work? *

Thanks in advance,

The "Thinking in Python" link

http://www.mindview.net/Books/TIPython

is busted (eg, goes to a drupal login page with no apparent access to any
content).

I'd like to change it to the page on Eckels site that talks about his Python
writings but the page is immutable.

My wiki account name is DonaldAnderson (which, incidentally, the creation of
which ended in a 504 Gateway Timeout error, even though it seems to have
created the account all the same. I was expecting an email confirmation but
never saw one.)

HTH,

D. Joe

be an editor. If the 504 is causing problems, let us know; possibly
MAL will need to kick the server or something.

But if all's well, great! And thank you for your contribution.

Also, I pushed additional commits to make the data migration more robust:
    - Skip to the next story if the current one is in the table -
