Hi there,

yesterday, Zope 5 was released, so I wanted to update the page for the
web frameworks on the Python wiki:
https://wiki.python.org/moin/WebFrameworks

Btw the link to Zope is also wrong. It links to a meta package instead
of the real web framework.

I'd like to update the entries.

My account name on the wiki is jugmac00.

Best,
J?rgen

Dear admins,

My name is Panagiotis Hadjidoukas (Chatzidoukas) and I currently work at
IBM Research Europe (
https://researcher.watson.ibm.com/researcher/view.php?person=zurich-hat).
I would like to edit the https://wiki.python.org/moin/ParallelProcessing
and more specifically to add my recent work (torcpy) there.
You can find more information about torcpy in the following link:
https://pypi.org/project/torcpy/
It has been also published in the SoftwareX journal:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2352711020300091

The library supports task-based parallelism on both shared and distributed
memory systems. In the second case, it uses the Message Passing Interface
(MPI) so it must be
very convenient for people that belong to the High Performance Computing
(HPC) community. At the same time, it fills the gap between HPC and Python
in a very simple way.

Yours sincerely,
Panagiotis Hadjidoukas

Hello wiki.python.org developers!

I've written a new introductory book about Python (a real one, not one of the many kindle-spam ones), and I'd like to add it to the IntroductoryBooks page.

Here's the link to verify:

https://www.amazon.com/Python-Very-Beginning-exercises-answers/dp/0957671156/

My wiki.python.org username is JohnWhitington.

Thanks,

John

Hello Wiki admin people,

Here the request to grant? wiki user account "stappers" the privilege of
wiki editor.

Reason for the request is the wish to update
https://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonConsulting

and also
https://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonConsulting/Python%202%20support%20and%20migration

Account "stappers" is identified by? Ubuntu 1?? a.k.a.? Launchpad.

(and that account is backed by? stappers at debian.org )

Thank you for considering

Regards

Geert Stappers
