I agree with this sentiment, and it would be great to see more packages
moving over to Python 3.
It looks like PyGTK still needs to be ported to Python 3, but they have
already made some progress on this. Here's a bug report about it:

I'm not sure if it matters where it's hosted, but I would definitely be
more inclined to contribute an occasional patch if PyGUI were in Git or
Mercurial or something.
