I don't know about the extended attributes, but the resource fork
and finder info can be accessed by appending "/rsrc" and "/info" to
the file pathname, so it probably wouldn't be too hard to enhance
Mercurial to deal with them.

The problem is that the Mercurial maintainers appear to be
philosophically opposed to giving Mercurial any platform-specific
functionality of any kind, so the chances of getting any such
enhancement into the standard version of hg seem to be very slim.

(This despite the stated aim that Mercurial should be usable for
"any kind of data", not just text files. This is currently not
true on MacOSX, nor can it be given the abovementioned philosophical
position.)
