My reading of Bray's post is that it was cautiously positive -- about as 
much as you could expect in public comments from someone *considering* 
funding some work.

The first comment about 'vibrant community' is already responded to.  You 
should focus on private negotiations with Bray or any other prospect.

More seriously: as a Python advocate, I would prefer direct work on Python. 
But I really hope you can get funding rather than disband.  So let us hope 
you get a choice of funding offers.
