Well, there is test_virtualstate.py with 86% coverage of
virtualstate.py. It contains some tests of the type we talked about
and some that I'm afraid you would call integration tests. I could
look into write a few more of the first kind. A complete testrun in
jit/metainterp has 95% coverage of virtualstate.py.
