I'm not.  I'm talking myself into thinking it would be the most
approachable route (which can of course be wrong).  But I'm not
looking forward to what would come next: once we have jumped to the
head of Python again, we're stuck with fixing various things for every
single new version of Python.  Stopping at 2.7, which turns out to be
a "very long term" version, and a good enough one imho, is extremely
pleasant from that point of view.
