PyPy does not support the ‘cp932’ encoding. This encoding is used in the Mercurial test suite.

$ python2.5 -c 'print repr(u"\u30e9".encode("cp932"))'
'\x83\x89'
$ pypy -c 'print repr(u"\u30e9".encode("cp932"))'
