New submission from Martijn Faassen <faassen at startifact.com>:

I've tested pypi with buildout (widely used to install Python-based projects),
but something in the installation process wants to invoke the python executable
with the -E option, and pypy (1.4) doesn't support that yet.

The option apparently does the following:

-E Ignore environment variables like PYTHONPATH and
PYTHONHOME that modify the behavior of the interpreter.
