To be precise - strings are immutable in Python. CPython has a hack that avoids 
doing a copy on string concatenation when refcount is 1. This isn't the case on 
pypy, where it's hard to check if refcount is 1 or not (there is no refcounting) 
and we don't implement this optimization. Hence, this is a wontfix.
