Hmm, indeed.  Sorry for the poor bug report.  I filed this in response to
<http://twistedmatrix.com/pipermail/twisted-web/2011-September/004774.html>.  It
seems that it wasn't actually a Windows binary that produced the problem, but a
custom build from MacPorts, which probably just didn't have cpyext enabled at all.

However, I did also test on Windows and was unable to build Twisted's
extensions.  The problem was an inability to find libpython27 though.  If you'd
prefer, feel free to close this ticket and I'll file a new one with details
about the build failure I can reproduce.
