for user scripting on c programs, lua, javascript, and python seems to be arguably the three common choices.

and frequently, the c program cannot trust user script and so it has to be embedded safely. I hope pypy's sandboxing can be used 
in this scenario.

There are two problems I see:

1. the c program and embedded, sandboxed pypy will be separated by process boundary, which prevents memory sharing and makes 
communication inefficient.

2. proper c-api to control the embedded sandboxed pypy from the c program.
