Yep, that error comes up on Linux as the errno's are different on Linux than on 
OSX. I got a version working on Linux but was unable to get the AssertionError, 
even after a very long run. On OSX it happens within about 15 seconds.

The hg changeset I'm currently on is 51557:9adc55550ee8.

If none of you have OSX, is there anything I can do to get you better debug info?
