Im not sure if you mean by compiling the way of install, but I used the easy
install way using "pypy bin\easy_install-script.py pymongo" and got the egg
version "pymongo-2.2-py2.7-win32". I use Windows 7 without any compiler.

I have to note that I use a virtualenv environment, if this matters with
"--distribute" instead of setuptools.
