[py-dev] renaming py and py.test, worth it?

Ditto - it might be a bit of a hassle for users, but shouldn't be too 
painful by the sound of it.

Would the current package disappear from PyPI eventually? I imagine it's 
possible that someone returns to maintain a package after a few years of 
inactivity - if py.test was nowhere to be found then, it might be quite 
discouraging. (Perhaps that concern is excessive, but worth considering 
at least.)
