Christian will have to deal with that.

But a general suggestion: changes that apply to both 2.6 and 3.0 ought
to be applied to 2.6 first; then we can use the (semi- :-) automatic
merge to get it ported to 3.0. Unless the code in 2.6 looks very
different from 3.0.
