It shouldn't be, but lots of "enterprise" environments will require
qualifying the "new" package according to corporate standards.
I won't argue that this is a sufficient reason to keep a package with
bsddb's history in stdlib, but let's not joke about the difficulties.
 Which apparently means that the company can be enterprising, but
the people who do the work mustn't be!
