  I may be able to work in some docstrings for the mailbox module.
The documentation for the rfc822 module refers to the actual RFC; if
you're using the HTML version of the documentation you should be able
to follow that link to read the text of the RFC, which contains more
than you could possibly want to know about the syntax of RFC 822
headers.  I'd hate to summarize and remove a detail that caused anyone 
to misunderstand the format (but I might anyway, another day).
