Summary: ./configure --help double trouble

Details: When you do a ./configure --help it reports that you can use a '--program-suffix=SUFFIX' to append SUFFIX to installed program names AND '--with-suffix=.exe' to set executable suffix.  Are these the same?  If so the program-suffix doesn't work.

The --program-suffix option is a freebie from the standard autoconf library. It is unused. Sorry for the confusion.
