Summary: --record option doesn't remove duplicate files

Details: If I invoke python setup.py install --record=INSTALLED_FILES and
then feed the input of INSTALLED_FILES to RPM, RPM sometimes doesn't finish
successfully because of duplicate files. It would be very nice if distutils
would remove duplicate files from the recorded files itself.
