Category: Python Library
Group: Python 2.2
Status: Closed
Resolution: Fixed
Priority: 5
Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody)
Assigned to: Guido van Rossum (gvanrossum)
Summary: license points to the wrong file

Initial Comment:
This is Python 2.2a4, as in the RPM from www.python.org

license() says:
See
http://www.pythonlabs.com/products/python2.0/license.html

A part for being clearly the wrong document, it doesn't
even exist! The right reference should be:

http://www.python.org/2.2/license.html

Kudos for the improvemnts,
 Ottavio

As I wrote, I just installed the RPM made available by Sean
Reifschneider: I suppose he forgot to include that file.

I'm going to write him.

Thanks! Fixed in CVS.

But you've got to tell me how you got this. It only shows
this message when you don't have a LICENSE or LICENSE.txt
file. Or did you just peek at the source?
