Summary: posix_int() is not used
Initial Comment:
Fred, in the cleanup you made on 4/15 in posixmodule,
you re-orged a lot. posix_int() is no longer used.
Was this intentional? If not, assign the bug to me and
I'll remove the function.

I only spotted it because of gcc 2.95.3 on solaris. gcc
2.96-98 (redhat 7.2) does not report that it's unused.

It was not a specific goal, not something I checked
afterward. I don't think I saw a warning about that from
GCC, which is odd, but grep can't find it.
Feel free to remove dead code! Thanks for spotting it.
