Initial Comment:
The sourceforge web site, used to report bugs, does not
have a "2.2.1" group for bug submissions, just "2.2.1
candidate."

I am filing this based on the assumtion, which I gather
from reading the python.org web pages, that the 2001-04
release of 2.2.1 available for download is not a
candidate - it is a release.

I agree that I may be nit-picking here -- but I just
submitted a bug, and it'd be nice to know that it
hasn't been discarded because it's for a stale release.
Having the right group provides positive feedback to
bug reporters.
