Summary: gethostbyname("LOCALHOST") fails

Initial Comment:
On MacOSX 10.1.5 a gethostbyname("LOCALHOST") fails. Other lookups are correctly case-insensitive.

This is probably an Apple bug, but even then I need to test it on 10.2 and report it if it's still there.
