Initial Comment:
The README file in the docs directory has a URL for the
development docs which is out of date.  This is true in
current (anonymous) CVS.

http://python.sourceforge.net/devel-docs/

should be

http://www.python.org/dev/doc/devel/

Also, perhaps a referral from the old page could be
arranged instead of a 404.
