Initial Comment:
In docutils documentation in section `The
Postinstallation script' 
(python/dist/src/Doc/dist/dist.tex) mensions function
dir_created, while it should be directory_created
(python/dist/src/PC/bdist_wininst/install.c). Grepping
the CVS tree shows the inconsistency:

lupan at psi:[~/local/python]$ find -type f -print0 |
xargs -0 grep [ry]_created
./dist/src/Doc/dist/dist.tex:dir_created(pathname)
./dist/src/PC/bdist_wininst/install.c: 
{"directory_created", DirectoryCreated, METH_VARARGS,
