When compiling python 2.3.2 on my platform, running make test produces segfault of python executable.

typescript included.
gcc 3.2.2

name, OS vendor, version of BerkeleyDB installed).

The test that crashes is anydbm.  I wonder if this could be
related to the bsddb problems?
