Status: Open
Resolution: None

Summary: ^Z doesn't exit interpreter - 2.4c1 & Win2K
Initial Comment:
In Python 2.3.4 on my Windows 2000 system, typing
control-Z at the interpreter prompt echos '^Z' and
exits the interpreter. In Python 2.4c1 when I type
control-Z, nothing happens at all - the interpreter
does not respond in any way.

On Windows XP SP2, Python 2.3.4 echos '^Z' and does *not*
exit.

I am unable to reproduce this today, though I have seen it
on more than one occasion...
