Initial Comment:
Running python 2.3.4 with valgrind memory error
detector gives A LOT of errors. They seem to be
harmless but I think they'd better be fixed because you
never know what happes in the future.

Also: ALWAYS test development with valgrind!

Attached is a script of it.
