Initial Comment:
There is a (8) note in the documentation of list
methods. (8) describes optional arguments of the sort()
method. The example is wrong for the key argument:
key specifies a function of one argument that is used
to extract a comparison key from each list element:
"cmp=str.lower"
Is should be:
key specifies a function of one argument that is used
to extract a comparison key from each list element:
"key=str.lower"
