Summary: 'assert statement' in doc index links to AssertionError

Initial Comment:
Both listings of the 'assert' statement in the documentation index (<http://docs.python.org/lib/genindex.html>, Python 2.5) link to AssertionError (<http://docs.python.org/lib/module-exceptions.html#l2h-102>) and not to the explanation of the assert statement.

It can't, currently, since the lib ref and the lang ref are two distinct
documents. This is addressed by current attempts to modernize the
toolchain.

Closing as "won't fix" for now.
