To my surprise there indeed is a vista SP1 box in our test farm. We
tested my patch on the following windows machines (each without an
installed CRT redist):

- xp SP2 and SP3
- xp64 SP2
- server 2003 R2 SP1
- vista with and without SP1
- windows server 2008
