ka-ping.yee python-checkins at python.org
Wed Aug 16 09:02:54 CEST 2006

Author: ka-ping.yee
Date: Wed Aug 16 09:02:50 2006
New Revision: 51307

Modified:
   python/trunk/Lib/test/test_uuid.py
   python/trunk/Lib/uuid.py
Log:
Update code and tests to support the 'bytes_le' attribute (for
little-endian byte order on Windows), and to work around clocks
with low resolution yielding duplicate UUIDs.

Anthony Baxter has approved this change.

UUID objects are immutable, hashable, and usable as dictionary keys.
Converting a UUID to a string with str() yields something in the form
