I looked at uuid.py and followed py-dev discussions carefully
and ctypes are there.
Apart from the Ka-Pin's initial plan, it's unlikely that
current uuid is assumed to run on vanilla Python 2.3 or 2.4.
I was fooled by that comment.
I'll ask Ka-Ping and py-dev forks.
