It does.  However, the working copy of the "hooks" repository (which is
where the hook entries of the other repositories refers to) is not
automatically updated on incoming changesets, so your new version hasn't
been used yet.  I've updated now, and the next commit in distutils2 or
this repo should use the new code.

(It's of course possible to automate this update, if required, but I don't
think we'll change the hooks often enough.)
