Please don’t make cosmetic changes in distutils, especially in tests:
It’s not worth the time.  This can also make future merges of bugfixes a
bit less easy.

If you don’t back out the whole changeset (following Antoine’s comment
about uselessness, with which I agree), I’ll back out the changes in
this distutils test file.
