The first. But it gives me the wrong impression:
fold the list [1, 2, 3]:
f(1,f(2,f(3))) for some function f
fold the lists [1, 2, 3] and
[4, 5, 6] elementwise:
f(f(3,f(6)),f(f(2,f(5)),f(1,f(4)))) for some function f
I'd just wonder what to fold the lists with.
Even if my judgement is biased by my Haskell organ, I still
think that taking the name of an important list operator from
different languages for a completely different list operation
is way worse than using the name of a file compression utility
as a list operator.
