[Python-Dev] sandbox?

I remember there was the discussion here about sandbox, but
I'm not sure I understand the rules. Checkin without asking
permission to sandbox ok? Just make my private dir and checkin
stuff?

Anybody who feels he can speak with authority is welcome ;-)
