test_email and test_file pass on Windows again (thanks!).

Now test_compile fails:

test_compile
test test_compile produced unexpected output:

**********************************************************************

    test_compile

I expect it's due to failing to regenerate the expected-output file, but
whoever changed it can resolve that faster than me.
