Browsing the code I didn't see anything that was that much better than
what datetime offered. The mutability is the only big difference but I
don't see that as a critical thing in this case since they are
relatively cheap objects to create.
And speaking of datetime, that module pretty much supercedes time. The
only thing in time that datetime lacks is basically strptime from my
experience.
Personally, I would rather see any nice, new functionality be added to
datetime so that time itself can possibly just go away. datetime is
just so much nicer to use in my opinion.
