It depends: yes for tk and sleepycat, no for ssl and bzip2.

Please keep us posted. It would be good if it involved no more manual
intervention than the current process; it would be a plus if the manual
intervention would be reduced.

It would also be a plus if you could figure out some of the pending
issues while you are at it, like how to stop the linker warnings when
linking _bsddb.pyd :-)
