Guys, maybe some embarassing news: it looks like in 2.2.3 final timsort in listobject.c is just plain gone, and reverted to something quite old. I can't imagine this was done on purpose, as I would have seen at least some discussion on the list. Could you please double check. I wish I was wrong. Vladimir
