Anthony's understanding is also mine: the feature is in the alpha so
users can experiment with it, and accomodate with it. If the feature
turns out to be completely unacceptable, it could be taken out. If
users contribute something better, it can be replaced. However, users
should not be under the impression that it magically changes or goes
away without any action.
