Yep, it's my doing.  I bet optparse is raising an error since it doesn't have 
options for -W1 or -x registered with the parser.  Anyone off the top of their 
head know how to cause optparse to just skip over options it doesn't know about?

I am on vacation at the moment so I will deal with this when I get back this 
weekend.
