[Python-Dev] make iter() return an empty iterator?

There is a difference.

 >>> type(iter)
<type 'builtin_function_or_method'>
 >>> type(str)
<type 'type'>
 >>> type(int)
<type 'type'>
 >>> type(list)
<type 'type'>
