[Python-Dev] AIX 5.3 - Build of Python 2.7.1

Hi All,

Python2.7.1 build on AIX 5.3 ML 12 is failing at the make step with the
error indicated below

make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.

Is there anything I could try to get past this?

Here is the configuration and make step that i utilized

./configure –enable-shared --disable-ipv6 --with-gcc=gcc CPPFLAGS="-I
/opt/freeware/include -I /opt/freeware/include/readline -I
/opt/freeware/include/ncurses"


make
