Actually, it doesn't work in Python 2 either. It never supported
international mailbox names.

Should I dare to suggest to port this to 2.7, since 2.7 is special and
will be supported for a long time?. Or maybe this is something like
"Yes, Python 2 is broken, the real deal is Python 3"? :).
