Expecting it to work :)

`make doctest` is a Sphinx feature, not specific to our docs.  Ideally
someday it should work (and I'll add it to the Docs buildbot), but
nobody has tried to make it work yet.  Making it work might be a good
large-ish project for newer contributors.
