Oh, I didn't realize that connection. It's funny that I get a Java
connotation from get* methods ;).

Indeed quite magical, while I really like how easy it is to remember
this *once you realize what is going on*.

I think bytes.char (on class) and data.chars (on instance) would be
quite similar.
