any chance we could move logic like that into a sys.getandroidversion()<br>
or platform.android_version() so user code (and standard library code<br>
alike) doesn't have to perform those relatively nasty checks themselves?<br>
It seems like a fair thing to do if CPython would support Android as an<br>
official target.<br>
